I'm an enthusiastic, creative freelance writer and editor living in Portland, Oregon.  I have more than 18 years' experience in the publishing industry. As the former publisher of the Portland edition of Natural Awakenings magazine and long-time writer and editor for multiple Natural Awakenings magazines around the country, I've written thousands of editorial pieces including news briefs, feature articles, business and community spotlights, Q&A's, travelogues and essays.
